In the career wheel, there 8 categories that I must rate myself in. I had to remind myself consistently to be honest and realistic with myself. I have always believed that digital literacy will improve my employability, so I have been consistently trying out new programs. It had greatly helped for the research and especially for the interview as I have done it online.
I have confidence in my creativity as an artist and in solving problems. I believe that there is always a variety of ways to do a task, some are just more efficient than the others. With the current traits and experience I have; I believe that I have a good employability amongst my current competition.
What did somewhat concern me was my career networking attribute as it is the lowest. I have always been a quiet person and didn’t really like to interact with others if it isn’t necessary. That hindered me when it comes to looking for an interviewee for this research. It was only then did I realize how important networking is when you want to enter that industry. I overcame my nervousness when it comes to approaching potential interviewee and I was able to confirm them for the interview. It also further increased my network of professionals in the industry I wish to work in.
